The Taz Takeover

The tornado comes through. Your business comes out better.

For hotels, bars, restaurants, campgrounds, salons and any business that’s stuck. Taz walks in, finds what’s broken, and rebuilds it: the customer experience, the brand, the systems and the story.

Start small

$150 secret shopper

An unannounced visit, phone call and online booking test, with a written scorecard. Most owners are surprised by what they find.

Then decide on the next step →
Signs it’s time

Busy, but not growing. Open, but not full.

A takeover is for good businesses that have stalled. The doors are open and the work is solid, but something between the first impression and the final bill keeps costing you customers.

  • Reviews mention the same complaint again and again
  • The brand, signs and menu look like three different businesses
  • Guests find you online, then book somewhere else
  • Staff handle the same situation five different ways
  • You’re fully booked and still not making enough
  • You know something has to change, but not what
How a takeover works

Five steps. Start with one, or take all five.

Each step stands on its own, and each one is priced before it begins.

  1. 01

    Secret Shopper

An unannounced visit, call and online booking test, scored the way your customers experience you.

    $150–$250
  2. 02

    On-Site Assessment

A walk-through of the customer experience, signage, menu or services, staff, online presence and systems, with a written findings report.

    $750–$1,500
  3. 03

    90-Day Turnaround Plan

Priorities in order, a realistic budget and a rebrand direction, so you know exactly what to fix first.

    $500–$1,000
  4. 04

    30-Day Takeover Sprint

Hands-on implementation: rebrand, menu or service redesign, signage, staff scripts, website and social, done with you on site.

    From $3,500
  5. 05

    Relaunch Event, hosted by Taz

A grand reopening planned and emceed by Taz, so the community sees the new version of your business on day one.

    $500–$1,500

We go where the clients are. Travel outside East Tennessee is billed at mileage plus per diem and agreed before the visit.

Why Taz

From the motorcoach to the main stage.

Before the agency, Taz traveled the country by motorcoach rebranding campgrounds, consulting for hospitality businesses and emceeing events.

That means a takeover isn’t a report you file away. It comes with someone who has worked the front desk side of the business, can redesign the brand and the website, and can stand on stage at your relaunch.

Hospitality experience: campgrounds, hotels, bars and events across the country.
Creative and technical: brand, print, web, video and systems handled under one roof.
On stage: event emcee experience for openings, relaunches and community events.

Takeover questions

Do I have to buy all five steps?

No. Many owners start with the Secret Shopper or the On-Site Assessment and decide from there. Each step is quoted and agreed before it starts.

Do you work outside Tennessee?

Yes. Taz is rooted in East Tennessee and works with clients in Tennessee, Florida, Mississippi and Texas. Travel is billed at mileage plus per diem.

Will my staff know you’re coming?

Not for the Secret Shopper. For the assessment and sprint, we work alongside your team, and staff scripts and training are part of the sprint.

What happens after the 30 days?

Many businesses move to a monthly plan to keep the momentum going. See Plans & Pricing.
